Krystal Marie Ball
Krystal Marie, born on November 24 1981 was an American political commentator. She was previously a politician, and a TV host on MSNBC as well as a regular contributor to The Huffington Post, and former cohost of The Hill’s Rising alongside Saagar Enjeti. Enjeti and Ball made it clear that they would not be on the show, at the end of May in 2021. They planned to launch their own venture, called Breaking Points. Ball is co-hosting along with Kyle Kulinski on the podcast Krystal Kyle & Friends. She has appeared as a guest on shows like Real Time with Bill Maher, Fox News (CNBC), Fox News (Fox News) as well as CNN (CNBC). Ball married Jonathan Dariyanani in 2020. Ball attributes her continued interest in politics to her experience as a newly-wed mom during the 2008 primaries. She also watched the US presidential election from Jordan while she was working in Jordan. She was able to observe how the election affected the citizens of Jordan and thereby gained an appreciation of the global impact of US politics. She was a Senior Fellow of the New Leaders Council. Ball was the Democratic Party nominee for Congress in Virginia's 1st district for the 2010 election. She lost to Republican incumbent Rob Wittman. She was host of The Cycle, a MSNBC TV show that she hosted from June 2012 until August 2015. She created the People's House Project, an action committee that works for Democratic causes in May 2017.
