Jennifer Rene Psaki
Jennifer Rene Psaki, an American political advisor, served as the 34th White House Press Secretary from 2021-2022. She is a member of the Democratic Party and previously served as the White House deputy Press Secretary (2009), the White House deputy Communications Director (2009-2011) and the spokesperson for US Department of State (2013-15) and the White House communications direct (2015-17). Psaki worked as an CNN political contributor from 2017 until 2020. Psaki's career started in 2001, when she was working in the reelection campaign of Tom Harkin, an Iowa Democrats running for the U.S. Senate. Psaki was later named the deputy press secretary of John Kerry's 2004 presidential race. Psaki worked from 2005 to 2006 as communications director to Joseph Crowley, U.S. representative, as well as as the regional press secretary to the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee. Psaki returned to politics in 2012 as the press secretary of President Obama's 2012 campaign. 20 Psaki quit as spokesperson for the United States Department of State, on February 11, 2013.
