Catherine Anne

 Catherine Anne O'Hara, OC was born March 4, 1954. She is a Canadian-American comedian, actress, and writer. O'Hara is the recipient of several distinctions which include a Genie Award, a Golden Globe Award as well as two Screen Actors Guild Awards, two Primetime Emmy Awards, and six Canadian Screen Awards. In 2018, O'Hara was made an Officer of Canada. In the year 2020, she received the Governor General's Performing Arts Performing Arts Artistic Achievement Award. O'Hara made her debut as an actress in 1974 while she was a part of The Second City in Toronto. Dan Aykroyd and John Candy were also part of her main cast in the sitcom Coming Up Rosie (1975-1978). O'Hara, Candy, and Dan Aykroyd first began working in Second City Television's sketch comedy series (1976-1984). O'Hara received high praise for her comedy acting and writing skills which earned her the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Writer for the Variety Series in 1982. O'Hara was appointed to the Second City artistic advisory panel in 2022 by Stephen Colbert.
